A STANDARD
TRANSCRIPT IS A SMOOTH READ
A standard
transcript is a smooth read, where common utterances in
speech such as word repetitions, false starts and phrases
like um/uh, like, you know, are omitted from the
final product. Speakers' original words remain in the order
delivered.
Why Standard Format?
The standard format is used commonly in medical meetings and
more general transcripts. The omission of the above
mentioned utterances allows for the reader to smoothly read
through the transcript without the hang-up of extraneous
sounds heard in normal speaking patterns. This format is the
most commonly requested by our clients. |
